E-GIFT CARD

Whatever the occasion, the E-Gift Card is an excellent gift option.

The recipient can choose what they like best and buy it online at www.vilanova.com.

We will send this virtual card, along with its numerical code, to the email address you have given us.

It can be sent directly to the final recipient (the person you are gifting to) or we can send it to you and you can then choose when to send it on.

You can also personalise the message.

Valid on the website www.vilanova.com.

When shopping in a physical store, the recipient will need to show the email, so we can scan the code.


Purchase

You can buy the E-Gift Card in the online store at www.vilanova.com.

You cannot use any discounts and/or promotions when buying the E-Gift Card.

The purchase and/or use of the E-Gift Card implies acceptance of its conditions.

When you buy the E-Gift Card, you cannot buy anything else at the same time.

Each E-Gift Card is bought in a standalone purchase. If you want to buy more than one E-Gift Card, you will have to buy them individually, in separate purchases.


Expiry date

12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase.


How it works

E-Gift Cards come in various face values, from €25 up to a maximum of €200. We consider the card to be a means of payment.

For use in the Vilanova.com online store.

Valid on purchases of sale and/or discount items.

E-Gift Cards cannot be returned.

The E-Gift Card is non-refundable.

You cannot use more than one E-Gift Card in the same purchase and the card is not rechargeable.

You can use part of the value of an E-Gift Card and then save the rest for your next purchase of an amount equal to or greater than the remaining balance.

If the cost of the purchase is lower than the balance on the E-Gift Card, payment must be made in full with this balance.

If the cost of the purchase is higher than the balance on the E-Gift Card, you can top it up with one of the other means of payment we accept.

We cannot replace E-Gift Cards in the event of theft, loss or damage.

If we detect that an E-Gift Card is being used fraudulently, the card will be cancelled and cannot be used in any further purchases The cost of any items already purchased will not be refunded.


Returns

The E-Gift Card cannot be converted into cash and the balance cannot be refunded to the Customer in any way, except in the circumstances provided for in law.

If a purchase made with an E-Gift Card is returned, the amount will be refunded to the same E-Gift Card and to the original purchaser’s email address.

If the original purchaser is not the intended recipient of the E-Gift Card, it is the purchaser's responsibility to forward the E-Gift Card to this intended recipient.

Liability

The use and possession of the E-Gift Card is the sole responsibility of the cardholder.

We will not be held liable for the non-receipt of the E-Gift Card, or for any delay in its arrival at the intended recipient, where this is for reasons beyond our control, namely: defects or breakdowns in telecommunication lines or systems, delays in the transmission of information or data, any loss of information or data that may occur, incorrect information regarding the recipient of the E-Gift Card, any impossibility of delivering the E-Gift Card to the email address provided, or the email being categorised as spam or unwanted email, among others.

We are not responsible for the content of any message that may accompany the E-Gift Card.


DATA PROTECTION

Cofemel - Sociedade de Vestuário, S.A, whose taxpayer number is 501329684, and whose registered office is at Rua Fernão Magalhães, n.º 2, Fração C, 4400-629 Vila Nova de Gaia ("Cofemel"), is the entity responsible for processing personal data for the purposes of managing the E-Gift Card and managing the contractual relationship established in this context. The provision of any personal data processed in this context is a necessary requirement for the conclusion of the contract and its execution, and any failure to provide such data will render the conclusion of the contract for the purchase and sale of the E-Gift Card unfeasible.

Notwithstanding those cases in which Cofemel is required to comply with its legal obligations, the personal data of the purchaser and the final recipient (jointly, "Data Subjects") will be processed on the basis of the extent which this is required to conclude and execute the contract for the purchase and sale of the E-Gift Card.

Cofemel may communicate personal data to subcontractors to whom it has subcontracted the provision of certain services, under the terms of the contracts signed between Cofemel and those entities. When this is the case, Cofemel ensures that these subcontractors have the appropriate technical and organisational measures in place for the processing of data subjects' data.

Cofemel may also pass its cardholders’ personal data to third parties, when such data communications are necessary (i) under the applicable law, (ii) for compliance with legal obligations/judicial orders, (iii) for responding to requests from public or governmental authorities.

The personal data of the Data Subjects (namely identification data, contact data, payment and billing data) will be retained until the end of the legal expiry period for all obligations arising from the contract and any legal obligations that Cofemel must fulfil.

Cofemel implements the appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect the personal data of Data Subjects, in accordance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data.

At any time, and as provided for in law, Data Subjects may request access to their personal data, as well as the rectification, erasure/deletion, restricted processing, or portability of the same. They may also object to the processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@grupovnc.com. Data subjects also have the legal right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) or another competent supervisory authority, if they believe that Cofemel is not processing their data in a lawful manner.
